step by step basil pesto and feta pizza

Fresh Basil. Not blended, rough chopped. Add cap of olive oil and Reggiano cheese.

Add Feta and sea salt and cracked black pepper.

Apricot dollops.

Add shaved Parmigiana.

Sliced Hungarian peppers.

Cooked till the apricot caramelizes.

compass rose

Painting a compass rose on the floor of Vytas's sailboat. Been a while since I've done this but, it's pretty basic geometery.

The part that made it hard was the confined space and a giant steering column in the center. I could use none of the normal tools. It was a mix of string, paint stirrer stick, small ruler and a crazy accurate left eyeball. The photos are just the white part taped off. There's plenty of room to fix small issues as you reverse tape and paint the other colors. It's going to be white, light blue w/ a light grey background. It's also going to look insane...
